Raffles & Fairmont the Red Sea is part of the Kingdom’s ambitious Red Sea Project and will offer guests access to two resort experiences centered on nature. The development includes 361 rooms, 11 unique dining venues, an overwater restaurant overlooking the Red Sea and mangroves, and a spa.

Role Summary
The Laundry Valet is responsible for handling guest laundry and dry-cleaning services with accuracy, discretion, and a consistently high level of professionalism. This position supports a luxury hotel environment where guest care, presentation, and attention to detail are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect guest laundry and dry-cleaning items promptly and deliver them in a professional and courteous manner.
- Check each item against the guest laundry form, confirming names, room numbers, and quantities to prevent errors.
- Inspect garments carefully for pre-existing damage, stains, or valuables left in pockets, and report any concerns to the supervisor before processing.
- Follow Raffles and LQA service standards at every stage of the pickup and delivery process.
- Carry out guest preferences precisely, including requests such as trouser folding, light starch, or shirt folding.
- Record charges for guest and staff laundry accurately and support tracking of staff uniforms.
- Assist with general valet duties, including distributing fresh linen and helping with stock counts and inventories.
Qualifications and Attributes
Applicants should bring at least 2 years of experience in a comparable role within a luxury hotel setting. Strong English communication skills are required for reading, writing, speaking, and handling guest questions professionally. Candidates must maintain excellent grooming, hygiene, and overall presentation, and should demonstrate strong attention to detail, interpersonal skills, and a service-first attitude.
Additional Information
- Familiarity with ultra-luxury guest expectations and alignment with brand standards is expected.
- Experience in project coordination, scheduling, and document control during pre-opening phases is required.
- Prior pre-opening experience is mandatory.
- The role calls for a proactive approach with ownership, accountability, and the ability to anticipate needs.
