About the opportunity

PX Health Ireland is an early-stage AI health startup in Ireland, building products and infrastructure designed to shape the future of healthcare. The company is currently pre-funded and has not yet begun generating revenue. It is looking for a seasoned design leader to define the visual and product experience for its platform and work closely with product and engineering teams while the MVP is being built.

Role overview

In this part-time lead design role, you will own the end-to-end design direction across PX Health Ireland’s products. You will guide the design process from early concepts through final delivery, with a focus on creating a polished, consistent, and highly usable experience across the platform.

This position is suited to someone who wants to contribute at an early stage, help establish the design foundation for a growing company, and play an important role in building an AI health business from the ground up.

Key responsibilities

You will be expected to set the design vision, shape user experiences, and ensure that product ideas are translated into practical, high-quality interfaces. Your work will involve close collaboration with product, project, AI, and engineering teams, as well as participation in user research and iterative design improvements.

Compensation and employment notes

The company is currently unable to provide immediate pay because it is pre-funded and pre-revenue. Compensation is deferred until funding is secured. The package also includes performance-linked bonus potential and equity participation under a vesting arrangement that reflects your contribution and long-term commitment.

After a successful funding round, the role may transition into full-time employment. This is also described as an opportunity to join the founding leadership team and contribute to a business with international growth ambitions.
