Manager, Partner Relations

About the Role

First Tee is looking for a Manager, Partner Relations to support its Advancement team and help strengthen partnerships that support youth through golf. In this role, you will shape persuasive partnership proposals, keep fulfillment work on track across a portfolio of corporate partners, and assist senior leaders with business development activities. This position is well suited to someone who works independently, owns deadlines, and contributes comfortably in a mission-focused, fast-moving environment.

You will collaborate closely with the Vice President and Senior Director of Corporate Partnerships, who lead external relationship management, to make sure partners receive thoughtful stewardship and that proposals are delivered accurately and with strong impact.

Proposal Development and Writing

• Create tailored partnership proposals for a range of investment levels in coordination with senior relationship managers.
• Turn partner goals, mission data, and program outcomes into persuasive content that fits the intended audience.
• Maintain reusable proposal materials, including templates, standard language, and impact statistics, so new opportunities can be assembled efficiently.
• Help prepare pitch materials such as decks, one-pagers, and executive summaries for prospecting and renewal discussions.

Fulfillment Tracking and Stewardship Support

• Manage the team’s fulfillment tracking process so deliverables, due dates, and commitments are clearly documented and progressing on time.
• Work with relationship managers to organize partner reporting and impact recaps.
• Assist with grant coordination and reporting for corporate foundation partners.
• Support partner recognition, acknowledgments, and stewardship efforts as assigned by senior leaders.

Business Development Support

• Research prospective corporate partners and identify opportunities that align with First Tee’s mission and revenue targets.
• Prepare research summaries, prospect profiles, and pipeline updates to guide outreach planning.
• Support post-event follow-up, including outreach tied to the PGA Show and tracking prospect engagement.
• Assist with sponsorship development for the annual Network Summit and other revenue-producing initiatives.

Partner Retention and Administrative Coordination

• Help manage renewal workflows for Inspired, Impact, and Cause Marketing partners, including renewal materials and timeline tracking.
• Coordinate alumni discount programs, partnership logistics, and fund reporting with internal stakeholders.
• Act as a cross-functional point of contact for partner-related needs across departments to ensure commitments are executed smoothly.

Qualifications

Applicants should bring at least five years of experience in corporate partnerships, fundraising, sponsorship, or a similar field. Strong writing ability is essential, especially for materials intended for donors or partners such as proposals, one-pagers, and impact reports. The role also calls for excellent organization, comfort with complex multi-deadline work, and the ability to operate independently while keeping senior team members informed.

Experience with prospect research and CRM or pipeline management tools is preferred. Familiarity with the nonprofit sector, golf, or sports is considered an advantage. The role may require travel for industry events and partner meetings.
