Pastry Chef

Role overview

The Wright Group is seeking a driven, enthusiastic pastry chef to help launch a brand-new venue in Kildare Village. This is a hands-on position for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced setting and contributing ideas to an expanding food offer.

You will be working closely with the Head Chef and the Head of Culinary Innovation, both of whom place strong emphasis on training, development, and internal progression.

This position suits early starters, as the shift begins at 5:00 am or 6:00 am to ensure the venue and pantry are fully prepared for the busy shopping day ahead.

Key duties

• Prepare and bake a range of cakes and other sweet items.
• Contribute creative ideas to menu development and new product concepts.
• Oversee day-to-day kitchen activity, including ingredient and supply ordering.
• Produce dough, bake items, and finish them with decorating work that appeals to customers.

Experience and qualities

The ideal candidate should bring at least 2 years of experience working as a pastry chef. You should be comfortable working as part of a team, manage your time well, and communicate clearly with colleagues.
