Pet Delivery Driver

Role overview

This is a permanent full-time driving position based in Sheffield (S6 1NN). The rate of pay is £13.00 per hour, with contracted hours of 37.5 each week. Some flexibility around working patterns may be needed.

A large part of the work involves overnight stays on most shifts; accommodation and food costs are covered.

The position sits within a logistics and distribution team focused on moving pets safely into stores while maintaining high standards of welfare and service.

What the job involves

You will work as a cover driver, with weekly assignments across different locations. The role reports to the Pet Delivery Manager and works closely with Pet Operations managers, Pet Health Checkers, store colleagues, and other transport team drivers.

Additional requirements and expectations

The role calls for a flexible approach to duties and working hours, plus a strong focus on safe, legal, and welfare-led transport. You will need to handle pre-drive checks, complete store deliveries, use phone apps for process checks, and help coordinate van maintenance. A friendly, practical attitude and a willingness to support the team are important.
