Role Overview

The Process Engineer (Implant) will support wafer fabrication operations by improving process efficiency, quality, yield, and cost performance. The role calls for ownership of assigned engineering issues and active contribution to day-to-day manufacturing stability.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee a cost-efficient wafer fabrication process by providing engineering support to the production line and helping the site meet its manufacturing targets.
• Assume complete responsibility for the engineering matters related to the assigned process.
• Support daily production activities by analyzing issues quickly and putting effective solutions into place in real time.
• Work closely with Maintenance Specialists, Production Supervisors, and Shift Engineers to keep process flow stable and to achieve quality, yield, and cost objectives.
• Monitor, maintain, and improve department quality metrics such as wafer scrap, defectivity, SPC, FDC, non-conformance lots, and excursions.
• Build strong process control methods for Si and SiC to keep wafer-at-risk levels low, improve SPC and FDC signal-to-noise performance, and reduce dependence on manual intervention.
• Apply best known methods through benchmarking to strengthen overall quality control.
• Take part in local projects and improvement initiatives focused on cost reduction, process stability, quality enhancement, and cycle time reduction.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in engineering is required, with preference for Electrical/Electronics, Mechanical, or Materials Engineering.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving ability are important.
• The role requires comfort with basic calculations involving dose concentration, angle, and air pressure.
• The ideal candidate should be proactive, self-driven, and able to communicate clearly.
• The ability to work independently as well as in cross-functional teams is essential.
