Role purpose

The Procurement Manager will oversee the purchasing function to make sure goods and services are sourced on time, at the right cost, and in line with quality, compliance, and efficiency standards. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can manage a high transaction volume, coordinate with multiple stakeholders, and keep operations moving in a fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Shape and execute procurement plans that support overall business goals.
• Handle the full procurement cycle, from sourcing and tendering to negotiation, buying, and contract administration.
• Develop trusted working relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Identify savings opportunities while protecting quality and service levels.
• Track supplier performance and ensure contract obligations are being met.
• Produce procurement reports, spending reviews, and performance dashboards.
• Maintain compliance with procurement procedures, policies, and governance standards.
• Coach, guide, and grow the procurement team.

Qualifications and experience

The preferred candidate should hold a bachelor’s degree in business administration, supply chain, procurement, or a similar discipline. The role calls for 8 to 10 years of procurement experience, with at least 3 to 5 years spent in a managerial capacity. Prior exposure to reputable companies, multinational firms, or large-scale industry settings is important. Strong capability in strategic sourcing, supplier oversight, and contract negotiation is required. Professional credentials such as CIPS or CPSM will be viewed as an added advantage.

Salary

The position is advertised with a monthly salary of 12,000.
