Role Summary
This is a full-time remote opportunity for a Property Manager to oversee the daily running of rental properties within the Nextline Homes ecosystem. The position centers on tenant communication, handling questions, organizing move-ins and move-outs, and making sure maintenance and service issues are resolved promptly. The role also includes tracking rent payments, monitoring lease adherence, and supporting property owners with clear updates and performance reports. Working closely with internal teams, the Property Manager helps keep property listings accurate, supports compliance with housing rules, and shares feedback that improves platform tools and operations. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and committed to delivering a dependable experience for both residents and owners.
Responsibilities
- Manage the daily operations of assigned rental properties.
- Respond to tenant inquiries and maintain clear communication with residents.
- Coordinate move-in and move-out activities.
- Follow up on maintenance and service requests to ensure timely resolution.
- Track rent collection and support lease compliance monitoring.
- Provide property owners with regular updates and accurate performance reports.
- Work with internal teams to keep listings current and operational processes aligned.
- Help ensure adherence to applicable housing regulations and rental policies.
- Share suggestions to improve tools, workflows, and overall service delivery.
Requirements
- Experience handling property and tenant management tasks, including lease administration, rent collection, and coordination of repairs and maintenance.
- Strong planning and organizational abilities, with good scheduling, prioritization, documentation, and attention to detail across multiple properties.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with customer service and conflict-resolution capability.
- Comfort using property management software, online platforms, basic data entry tools, and remote collaboration systems.
- Working knowledge of housing regulations and rental best practices, with the ability to apply rules consistently.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setup and adapt to changing tools and processes.
- Prior background in property management, real estate, or residential leasing is preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent is required; an associate or bachelor’s degree in business, real estate, or a related area is an added advantage.
