Role Overview
This is a full-time, on-site position in Srinagar, Jammu & Kashmir. The Sales Associate will speak with new and existing customers, assess their financial requirements, and suggest appropriate loan options offered by partner institutions. The role combines lead generation, customer support, documentation assistance, follow-ups, and record maintenance while ensuring every interaction reflects the company’s values of transparency and service.
Key Duties
- Identify and develop potential customer leads, then assess which prospects are suitable for loan products.
- Explain loan features, eligibility, documentation, and the overall application process in a simple and trustworthy manner.
- Support customers through each stage of the loan journey, including form filling, documentation, and submission.
- Track progress with follow-ups so that approvals and disbursements move ahead smoothly and on time.
- Maintain correct and up-to-date information in internal systems and records.
- Coordinate with in-house teams and external banking/financial partners to keep cases moving efficiently.
- Work toward assigned sales and service goals while maintaining ethical and customer-focused practices.
Candidate Profile
- Strong background in sales and customer handling, with the confidence to answer questions and build trust.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills in English and local languages.
- Basic understanding of financial concepts, loan products, interest rates, and paperwork requirements.
- Good planning and time management skills to manage several customer cases at once.
- Comfort using computers, CRM systems, phone calls, email, and messaging platforms.
- Ability to collaborate with internal stakeholders and external financial partners.
- Minimum education expected is Higher Secondary (12th pass); a degree in Business, Finance, or a related area is preferred.
- Previous exposure to sales, banking, financial services, or direct-selling roles is helpful, though enthusiastic freshers can also be considered.
