Role Summary

As a Scrum Master Intern, you will assist agile teams with planning, delivery, and ongoing process improvement. This is a part-time, remote opportunity where you will help run core Scrum ceremonies, keep user stories organized, follow team progress, and support the resolution of small blockers by coordinating with relevant stakeholders. You will work alongside developers, product owners, and other contributors to strengthen communication, transparency, and continuous improvement in an AI-driven environment.

Key Duties

• Support sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives with guidance from experienced team members.
• Help keep user stories, acceptance criteria, and basic functional requirements well structured and up to date.
• Monitor progress across the team and assist in identifying minor issues that may slow delivery.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to help clear small impediments and keep work moving smoothly.
• Collaborate with software developers, product owners, and other team members to improve communication and visibility.
• Assist in recording agile practices, maintaining simple status updates, and preparing basic reports.
• Learn and apply practical Scrum and agile project management methods in a startup setting.

Qualifications

• Genuine interest in agile ways of working and the ability to assist with sprint planning and basic backlog organization.
• Comfort working with user stories, acceptance criteria, and simple functional requirements.
• Basic understanding of software development workflows and the ability to interact effectively with technical teams.
• Strong analytical ability to read team metrics, spot trends, and contribute to improvement discussions.
• Clear, professional communication skills for facilitating small meetings and working with distributed teams.
• Currently studying or recently graduated in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field, or possessing equivalent hands-on experience.
• Well-organized, self-driven, and able to handle part-time remote work responsibly.
• Interest in AI, healthcare technology, and startup environments; familiarity with Scrum, Kanban, or tools such as Jira and Trello is an advantage.
