Role Overview

An internationally recognised architectural practice south of Brisbane’s CBD is looking for an experienced Senior Architect to take a leading role across a varied project portfolio. The position offers the chance to contribute to high-calibre, award-winning work spanning multi-residential, mixed-use, and commercial developments.

As part of a close-knit studio, you will influence project direction, guide developing team members, and help strengthen the practice’s culture and continued growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Take ownership of multi-residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects from early stages through to completion.
• Create and present compelling design concepts that respond to briefs and client goals.
• Coordinate consultants and manage project documentation across all stages.
• Drive planning submissions, design development, and contract documentation.
• Monitor project timelines, budgets, and deliverables to support successful outcomes.
• Provide mentoring and guidance to junior architects and graduate staff.

About You

• You are a registered architect with at least 5 years of professional experience.
• You have delivered medium to large-scale multi-residential and/or commercial projects.
• You bring strong design thinking and an interest in sustainability.
• You understand Australian building regulations and construction methods well.
• You are confident using Revit and modern design tools.
• You communicate clearly and demonstrate leadership and stakeholder management ability.
• You can balance several priorities while maintaining a high standard of design and documentation.
