Role overview
This position is centered on managing outstanding receivables, keeping collection records accurate, and working closely with customers to support timely payments. The coordinator helps maintain healthy cash flow, lower DSO, settle disputes, and partner with internal teams when billing or service issues affect payment progress.
Key responsibilities
- Reach out to customers by phone and email to chase overdue invoices and recover payments.
- Check account balances and payment allocation details, then correct any inconsistencies found.
- Work with customers to agree on feasible repayment arrangements for unpaid balances.
- Prepare and share daily or weekly updates on aged receivables and accounts that carry higher risk.
- Suggest improvements that can strengthen the accounts receivable collection process.
- Keep thorough records of all collection actions and customer communications.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- Prior exposure to credit control, collections, or accounts receivable work.
- Strong communication abilities in both speaking and writing, along with negotiation and customer service skills.
- Comfort using accounting tools such as QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle, plus good working knowledge of MS Excel.
- Fluency in Arabic and English.
