About the team

Since the 2026 season, Audi has been part of the FIA Formula 1 World Championship. The organization is spread across three sites: the Motorsport Competence Center in Neuburg, Germany, which is among Europe’s most advanced facilities of its kind; the Formula 1 factory in Hinwil, Switzerland, recognized for its innovative technology and racing focus; and the Audi Motorsport Technology Center in the UK, which is currently being launched and continues to expand. The power unit is developed in Neuburg, while chassis development and race operations are handled in Hinwil.

This internship runs for a minimum of four months, is structured as a full-time role, and includes fair compensation.

Role overview

This position is based at Audi Formula Racing GmbH in Neuburg, Germany. The Program Management function acts as the central coordination unit for the organization. It connects technical departments, the supply chain, and financial planning, while also taking ownership of the complex project management tasks involved in the development and production of the Audi F1 powertrain. The environment is fast-paced, highly dynamic, deadline-driven, and continuously changing. Close collaboration helps maintain transparency around project objectives and allows risks to be identified early. The team values accountability, strong communication, collaborative performance, and genuine enjoyment in the work. Because many workstreams are closely linked, a high level of cooperation and openness is essential.

Your mission

• Assist with project planning and tracking for initiatives connected to Audi Formula 1 activities
• Monitor project progress and assess whether milestones and goals are being met, making adjustments when needed
• Identify risks early and help develop practical countermeasures and solution ideas
• Support the review and improvement of program-management processes
• Contribute to concepts and ideas for digitizing project-planning activities
• Take on additional team-related tasks as required

Your profile

• You are enrolled in a technical degree program or industrial engineering
• You have a strong interest in Formula 1, automotive technology, and IT systems
• You are comfortable working with MS Office tools
• You bring strong networking abilities and clear communication skills
• You have a solid command of English
• You work well in a team and contribute positively to group performance
