Role overview
We are hiring a seasoned Technical Program Manager / Data Engineering Architect with 12 to 16 years of experience to steer data engineering and analytics initiatives. This position is centered on roadmap ownership, planning, execution, client partnership, governance, and delivery excellence, while guiding cloud-native data platform programs in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Key responsibilities
- Take end-to-end ownership of program planning, roadmap, and execution for data engineering and analytics work, covering batch and real-time pipelines, data lakes, data warehouses, BI, and machine learning solutions.
- Serve as a dependable client advisor by framing business problems, shaping solution options, and defining practical delivery approaches.
- Lead large-scale implementations of data platforms using AWS, Azure, GCP, Databricks, Spark, and related modern technologies.
- Coordinate several projects and programs simultaneously while keeping a close watch on quality, schedules, budget, and risk.
- Guide and coach TPMs, project managers, and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Create governance structures that include KPI monitoring, executive reporting dashboards, and structured stakeholder communication.
- Promote Agile adoption and raise the overall maturity of delivery processes.
- Track risks, dependencies, and escalations across distributed teams.
- Partner with data scientists, engineers, and solution architects to build scalable data solutions.
- Handle executive-level communication and progress reporting.
- Drive solution adoption and business ROI after delivery.
- Contribute to pre-sales efforts such as effort sizing, proposal creation, and client-facing presentations.
