Role overview

This opportunity is for a creative, approachable, and energetic retail professional who enjoys working in fashion. The Third Key Holder, Visual supports the store’s visual presentation, merchandising, and marketing standards while partnering with management to keep the sales floor and stockroom running smoothly. When team leaders are unavailable, this person takes responsibility for overall store operations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day store activity, including opening and closing routines, keeping the store clean, restocking, merchandising, helping customers, and guiding the team.
• Deliver a welcoming shopping experience by greeting customers, recognizing them when they return, re-engaging with shoppers, and maintaining strong product knowledge.
• Handle customer purchases at the register.
• Follow all company rules, procedures, and standards.
• Assist the Store Manager in making sure store practices align with the employee handbook and company expectations.
• Complete additional tasks assigned by the Store Manager as needed.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of retail experience. A high school diploma or equivalent is considered an asset. Success in this role also requires strong sales ability, solid customer service skills, good time management, the ability to prioritize, clear communication, strong interpersonal skills, and comfort taking ownership, delegating work, and leading in a positive, inclusive way.

Physical requirements

This position requires standing for long stretches and climbing a ladder. The role also involves moving, lifting, and handling boxes of merchandise and fixtures across the store, with weights of up to 30 pounds.

Schedule availability

Work is required on days, evenings, and weekends.
