TypeScript Developer - AI Trainer

Role overview

This role is for an experienced TypeScript developer who wants to contribute to AI training work. You would join a large coding community of more than 100,000 professionals across front-end, back-end, full-stack, machine learning, and related engineering fields, all helping improve real-world AI systems.

The work combines technical challenge with flexibility. You may solve programming tasks, design difficult coding problems, build feature-rich applications, and analyze or visualize data to help train and improve advanced AI models. Some contributors use this as a side engagement alongside another job, while others make it their main focus and select projects based on their own availability and goals.

How the process works

After creating an account, you will complete a brief assessment that functions as the screening step. If you succeed, you will receive confirmation by email and paid projects will then become available through the platform.

Responsibilities

• Create and solve varied coding challenges used for AI model training, with a strong focus on Android-related development.
• Produce accurate code examples along with clear, well-explained technical write-ups.
• Review AI-generated code for correctness, efficiency, and readability.
• Share feedback that helps improve future AI model performance.

Qualifications

• Strong command of English at native or bilingual level.
• Preferred hands-on experience with Kotlin.
• Working knowledge of at least one of these languages or frameworks: JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, C, C#, C++, React, Go, Java, or Swift.
• Excellent written communication and grammar.
• Bachelor’s degree, either completed or currently in progress.
• Prior experience as a software developer, coder, software engineer, or programmer is preferred.

Contract and pay details

This is an independent contractor opportunity. Work is paid hourly, with rates starting at USD 50 to USD 100+ per hour, and some projects may pay more. Payments are made through PayPal, which also manages any currency conversion from USD. No payment or fee is ever requested from applicants.

Availability and location

The role can be done from home on your own computer and on a schedule that you choose. It is available only to candidates located in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, or New Zealand.
