Role overview
Infosys is looking for a Windows Administrator with 3 to 4 years of hands-on experience in supporting Windows endpoints and administering servers. The role involves system configuration, upgrades, and day-to-day troubleshooting across a Windows environment in Bengaluru East, Karnataka.
Core responsibilities
- Support and maintain Windows endpoints and servers, including routine administration, configuration changes, and upgrade activities.
- Work with Microsoft 365 applications, Windows operating systems, software deployment, Outlook, and server-related issue resolution.
- Assist with data center operations and endpoint security administration.
- Handle incidents and troubleshoot problems within the Windows domain environment.
Technical requirements
- Practical experience with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, file servers, and virtualization technologies.
- Good understanding of ITIL and ITSM practices, including SLA management and Change/Release processes.
- Exposure to ticketing platforms such as ServiceNow or Remedy will be an added advantage.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
Experience needed
Candidates should bring 3 to 4 years of relevant experience in Windows administration, endpoint support, and server troubleshooting.
