WSH Coordinator

Role Overview

The WSH Coordinator will help maintain a safe and compliant construction site by carrying out daily safety checks, reinforcing site rules, and supporting the project team in implementing the Health, Safety, and Environment management system.

Key Duties

• Put the site’s HSE management system into practice and keep track of compliance with required safety standards.
• Perform routine daily inspections to spot hazards and take corrective action without delay.
• Work closely with subcontractors’ supervisors to review site safety conditions and ensure safe work practices are followed.
• Check that all machinery and equipment on site are operating properly and have the required certifications.
• Make sure every worker uses the correct personal protective equipment at all times.
• Deliver safety talks and briefings to share procedures, updates, and important reminders.
• Run daily toolbox meetings with subcontractors to strengthen safe work habits and address site concerns.
• Carry out induction sessions for new workers so they understand site safety rules and expectations.
• Oversee daily housekeeping standards by subcontractors to keep the work area orderly and safe.
• Ensure that quality, occupational health, and safety rules and practices are consistently followed.
• Assist management with safety matters by providing timely updates, observations, and recommendations.

Requirements

• A minimum of an NITEC certificate or an equivalent qualification is required.
• Applicants must hold an Advanced Certificate in Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Level B.

This is a full-time onsite role based in Singapore.
