What you will do
You will support and grow a portfolio of mid-sized, fast-growing merchants, working across a variety of sectors and collaborating with other account managers in a pooled model. Your focus will be on building strong customer relationships, identifying growth opportunities, driving commercial success, and ensuring a high-quality customer experience while keeping an eye on efficiency and proactive account management.
- Partner with other account managers to handle accounts across multiple industries and share ownership where needed.
- Develop customer relationships that support growth, satisfaction, and lower churn.
- Lead commercial conversations on shared accounts and work toward strategic and financial goals.
- Organize and deliver short- and long-term projects across several accounts, coordinating with internal teams when helpful.
- Use analytical thinking and spreadsheet-based analysis to discuss payment-related details with confidence.
- Act as the internal voice of the customer and relay feedback to the right teams.

Additional requirements
This position is based in the Berlin office and follows a hybrid working model. In-person collaboration is an important part of the setup, and fully remote arrangements are not available. The role also involves some domestic and international travel.
- 1 to 3 years of full-time experience in a client-facing commercial role such as account management, consulting, or merchant-side payments work.
- Experience in complex enterprise software, technical infrastructure, or financial services is a plus.
- Professional written and spoken fluency in both German and English.
- Additional languages are considered an advantage.
