About the Role

Tata Consultancy Services is hiring an Angular Developer in Kolkata for a seasoned front-end professional with 5 to 10 years of experience. The role focuses on building responsive, fast, and engaging web applications using modern web technologies and Angular.

What You Will Do

• Develop high-performance, interactive web interfaces that work smoothly across devices.
• Build reusable, testable, and self-contained Angular components and modules.
• Work hands-on with HTML5, CSS3, SASS, Bootstrap, JavaScript, and related ECMAScript concepts such as data structures, data types, and prototype inheritance.
• Use Angular 14+ and newer framework features effectively in day-to-day development.
• Write Jasmine unit tests to support quality and maintainability.
• Use Git for version control and collaborate through standard code management workflows.
• Debug issues using tools such as Postman, browser developer tools, Chrome debugging, and Lighthouse.
• Apply software design patterns, programming best practices, and TypeScript-related design structures.
• Identify and address code vulnerabilities, and contribute to improving application security.
• Optimize application performance to improve speed and responsiveness.
• Support Angular upgrade activities where needed.
• Guide junior developers while also handling individual deliverables independently.

Required Skills and Experience

• Strong practical knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, SASS, Bootstrap, and JavaScript.
• Solid understanding of Angular 14 or above and its core concepts.
• Experience writing Jasmine-based unit tests.
• Comfortable using Git for version control.
• Hands-on experience with debugging and network analysis tools.
• Good understanding of TypeScript, coding standards, and software design patterns.
• Experience improving performance and fixing security vulnerabilities.
• Ability to mentor junior team members.

Eligibility

Applicants must be graduates. The role is intended for candidates with 5 to 10 years of relevant experience.
