Role overview
The bank is seeking a proactive and detail-focused Assistant Branch Manager to take charge of everyday branch functioning. The position calls for someone who can keep operations running smoothly, uphold compliance standards, and support a high-quality customer experience.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise routine branch activities to ensure the office runs efficiently and without disruption.
- Maintain full compliance with internal policies, audit expectations, and applicable regulatory guidelines.
- Review and approve system entries related to customer transactions and service requests, including SO, SDO, and RO.
- Oversee the branch lobby and manage customer flow and queue handling to improve service delivery.
- Manage cash-related activities, including foreign exchange and travellers cheques, within approved limits.
- Respond to and resolve customer issues within the defined turnaround timelines.
- Ensure all account-opening documents sent to CPC/RPC meet AML and KYC requirements.
