Role overview
Allied World is seeking an Assistant Credit Controller for its Dublin office on a 12-month fixed-term contract. Key duties
- Handle daily cash posting and support banking and credit control operations.
- Match incoming receipts against outstanding receivable balances.
- Follow up on overdue customer amounts and support collections activity.
- Prepare and distribute monthly account statements.
- Compile a monthly receivables summary highlighting unpaid premiums for senior leaders and department heads.
- Process requests related to claim payments.
- Help prepare a monthly report covering unallocated cash for review.
- Work with client representatives and internal stakeholders to maintain an effective credit control process.
- Ensure the credit control function follows established Sarbanes-Oxley compliance procedures.
Experience and skills
The role calls for someone with prior credit control experience and strong administrative accuracy. Insurance background is useful but not mandatory, as training and supervision will be provided. The position also requires strong communication, teamwork, time management, and the ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
