Role overview
Vans is seeking a permanent, full-time Assistant Store Manager for its Kildare Village location in Kildare, County Kildare, Ireland. This role sits within a global apparel organisation and is focused on helping create strong customer experiences while supporting store performance and team leadership.
As an Assistant Store Manager, you will work closely with the Store Manager to help run the shop effectively, improve results, and contribute to the overall success of the store. The brand is built on authenticity, creativity, inclusivity, and a team-oriented mindset.
Key responsibilities
- Work alongside the Store Manager to support sales growth and profitability.
- Coach, encourage, and guide sales associates to perform at their best.
- Help put established retail procedures into practice while also identifying better ways of working.
- Monitor day-to-day store operations, including stock control and P&L-related tasks.
- Track performance data, understand key KPIs, and use that insight to improve store outcomes.
- Ensure the store presentation meets brand visual merchandising standards.
- Step in and manage the store when the Store Manager is unavailable.

- Availability to work weekends, evenings, and public holidays as required.

Pay and benefits
The annual hiring range for this role is €31,248 to €39,060. In addition, the position may qualify for further compensation such as an annual incentive, sales incentive, or commission, with exact details shared during the hiring process.
