Role Overview

RH Interior Designers are central to the design service experience for walk-in clients at an RH Gallery. In this role, you will partner closely with Lead Designers and Gallery Leadership, bringing an entrepreneurial mindset and a strong ability to build meaningful client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Embody RH’s vision, values and guiding beliefs in day-to-day work.
• Deliver a premium design experience to clients through RH Interior Design services.
• Apply and carry out the RH design philosophy in residential interior design projects.
• Handle smaller design assignments independently and with confidence.
• Contribute to larger projects alongside the interior design team.
• Create polished design presentations and clearly explain concepts, space plans and product choices.
• Manage the client journey from consultation through delivery and on-site visits.
• Help meet financial and business targets.
• Present the RH lifestyle brand through communication style, grooming and professional conduct.
• Stay engaged with the luxury and design sector.
• Help uphold the visual presentation and quality expectations of the Gallery.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of design experience, ideally in a design studio or in high-end furniture/luxury retail.
• A degree in Art, Architecture, Interior Design or a closely related field is preferred.
• A professional portfolio is required.
• Prior hands-on experience with interior installation is preferred.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite and similar space-planning or rendering tools is preferred.
• Strong artistic ability, including hand sketching and rendering, is preferred.
• Well-organized, strategic and focused on results.
• Strong commitment to quality and careful attention to detail.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with enthusiasm for growing a successful interior design business.
• Excellent spoken and written communication skills.
• Comfort using Mac OS, iOS devices, Microsoft Office and Google applications.
• Ability to lift and move small to medium items up to 15 kg using proper equipment and safe techniques.
• Ability to move around the gallery floor, stockroom and office with ease.
• This position involves extended periods of standing, twisting, stooping, kneeling, squatting, bending and climbing.
• Driver’s licence preferred.
• Ability to travel locally or to another state.
