Job Overview
A significant leadership role is available within WSP's Auckland Projects team for an Associate - Project Management. This position offers the chance to lead a high-performing project management team and contribute to landmark projects. The role involves business development, client relationship management, and strategic input into Project Management initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Spearhead and manage a dedicated project management team.
- Cultivate new business opportunities and nurture existing client relationships through effective business development.
- Contribute to the development of national Project Management strategies in collaboration with the sector lead.
- Lead bid processes and proposals within the Project Management domain.
- Provide strategic direction and oversee the execution of projects.
About You
- Possess a relevant tertiary qualification.
- Have a minimum of 10 years of professional experience in a related field.
- Hold a current, clean Driver’s Licence.
- Be certified with Prince II, PMP, or another recognized industry qualification.
- Demonstrate a strong track record and a high degree of technical expertise.
- Exhibit a solid understanding of New Zealand's relevant standards, legislation, and practices.
- Have proven experience in managing and mentoring teams.
