Automation Expert

Role overview

We are looking for an Automation Expert to join a fast-growing team in Berlin. In this role, you will design and implement automation solutions that improve operational speed, reduce errors, and support better business decisions. You will work closely with the founders and other teams, taking ownership of topics end to end—from concept to delivery.

What you will do

• Develop automation workflows that are reliable in production, using tools such as n8n, Make.com, and Claude, and carry them from initial design to live deployment.
• Help shape the company’s data foundation by setting up and maintaining systems for data collection, transformation, and visualization, including tools like Looker Studio and Snowflake.
• Identify inefficiencies in day-to-day operations and solve them proactively with technical improvements before issues are explicitly raised.
• Create dashboards and reports that are genuinely useful for decision-making by focusing on clarity, relevance, and actionable insights.
• Partner directly with leadership and internal teams to translate business problems into technical solutions and technical opportunities into concrete decisions.
• Take full ownership of your work area, from planning and implementation to handover and ongoing responsibility.

Requirements

This position requires valid EU work authorization.

You should be fluent in German and comfortable communicating in English, both spoken and written. The role calls for hands-on automation experience in real-world production settings, not only theoretical knowledge.

We are looking for someone who is confident working with automation and data tools such as n8n, Make.com, SQL, Python, and BI platforms, and who can quickly learn new systems when needed. A strong drive to build, learn, and improve is important, along with a high level of initiative, accountability, and determination. You will be part of a dynamic team that is currently scaling quickly. In your day-to-day work, you will collaborate closely with the founders.
