Role Overview

The City of Fairburn is looking for a seasoned technician with hands-on experience in backflow prevention and related utility testing work. This position focuses on technical inspections, control testing, and water quality-related field activities.

Key Duties

Inspect the installation of backflow assemblies to confirm proper setup and compliance.
Carry out cross-connection control testing as part of water system protection efforts.
Complete water use surveys to support utility monitoring and assessment.
Perform water constituent testing in the field.
Conduct dye testing operations as needed.
