The team

You will join a fast-moving Food & Beverage team and work closely with the Bar Supervisor while also coordinating with colleagues across service functions. The team is dedicated to delivering outstanding beverage service, maintaining Rosewood standards, and creating memorable guest experiences.

Role overview

In this position, you will help bring the bar experience to life by preparing and serving drinks with accuracy, consistency, and creativity. You will be expected to protect brand standards, keep operations running smoothly, and contribute to an environment where guests feel welcomed, recognized, and well cared for. Your work will support guest satisfaction, beverage revenue, and the overall performance of the Food & Beverage department.

Key duties

• Mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks in line with hotel recipes and service standards.
• Provide friendly, attentive service by anticipating guest preferences and using upselling techniques where appropriate.
• Keep the bar, tools, and service stations clean, orderly, and properly sanitized throughout the shift.
• Follow all liquor laws, company procedures, and safety requirements, including responsible alcohol service.
• Handle bar setup and closing duties, including stocking products, replenishing supplies, and safeguarding inventory.
• Process guest payments correctly and complete cash-handling tasks, reports, and related documentation.

Candidate profile

We are looking for someone with at least one year of experience working as a Bartender or Barback, who is legally allowed to serve alcohol and is 21 years or older. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, works quickly and accurately, and remains composed when resolving issues.

You should be comfortable reading guest needs and delivering refined, personalized service in a busy setting. Confidence with POS systems, strong organization, and the ability to manage several orders at once are important for success in this role. You should also be a team player who communicates clearly and helps colleagues maintain smooth operations. Physical stamina is required, including standing for long periods and lifting or handling bar equipment safely.
