Role Overview

The BIM Coordinator will be a key member of the Design and Engineering team, taking ownership of Building Information Modelling processes, standards, and coordination across multidisciplinary projects. This position is centered on maintaining model accuracy, protecting data quality, and enabling smooth collaboration between design teams and project stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee BIM coordination activities and make sure models remain accurate, consistent, and aligned with the project BIM Execution Plan.
• Combine and coordinate inputs from architecture, structural, MEP, and other disciplines to support clash detection and effective model integration.
• Assist project teams with the setup, development, and ongoing administration of BIM models during design and construction.
• Perform quality assurance checks, identify model issues, and resolve discrepancies to preserve model integrity and reliable data.
• Help create, revise, and maintain BIM documentation, standards, templates, and related procedures.
• Work closely with design managers, discipline leads, and contractors to keep project delivery aligned with objectives.
• Offer technical assistance, guidance, and training on BIM tools and processes to project team members.

Qualifications and Experience

The position requires a bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or another relevant field, along with at least 10 years of BIM coordination experience on multidisciplinary design or infrastructure assignments. Candidates should be highly skilled in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and similar BIM tools, and should have worked with Common Data Environment platforms such as BIM 360, ACC, or Aconex. Experience handling BIM for large or complex projects is important, and familiarity with ISO 19650 or comparable international BIM standards is expected.

Strong candidates will have a solid grasp of design coordination, model management, and clash detection processes, as well as the ability to solve problems effectively and communicate clearly.
