Role overview
As a Brand Designer on the Marketing team, you will help define, develop, and refresh the Inspired Thinking Group (ITG) brand. This is a practical, hands-on position where your work will shape how the company presents itself across internal and external channels.
You will collaborate with a copywriter and global marketing teams to produce B2B creative work while upholding high standards across all brand outputs. The role calls for a conceptual designer who can move ideas from early thinking through to polished delivery, ensuring the final output is both imaginative and effective.
You will turn briefs and brand direction into creative assets across social media content, web pages, presentations, reports, campaign materials, print, and merchandise. Working with marketing colleagues, account teams, and senior stakeholders, you will help keep all output aligned, strong, and consistent with the brand.
Key responsibilities
- Help apply and refine brand guidelines as the brand evolves.
- Produce visually compelling creative assets across multiple channels.
- Own projects from concept to completion and keep them moving forward confidently.
- Use conceptual thinking to develop effective solutions from briefs.
- Present and explain creative ideas clearly and with enthusiasm.
- Bring energy, curiosity, and a proactive approach to every assignment.
- Look for opportunities to strengthen the brand with fresh thinking and new perspectives.
- Work closely with a copywriter and the wider marketing team on integrated campaigns.
- Design for the ITG website and be trained to update visual content in the CMS, including images and page assets.
- Support brand design needs across the wider business, including internal communications, events, and other initiatives.
- Build productive relationships across teams and work confidently with both new and senior stakeholders.
- Help ensure all content reflects ITG as a great place to work and a trusted business partner.
- Manage multiple projects efficiently and keep priorities on track.
- Maintain a sharp eye for detail and support quality control across deliverables.
Requirements
You should have experience as a conceptual designer, either in B2B or B2C, with the ability to translate brand guidelines and briefs into clear, engaging creative work. A portfolio showing work across different projects and channels is expected.
You need a strong grasp of branding and the ability to apply it consistently across varied touchpoints. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop, is essential, and you should also be comfortable using Figma for digital design and collaboration.
Success in this role also depends on being collaborative, open, and enthusiastic when working with cross-functional teams. You should feel confident presenting ideas to senior stakeholders, stay highly organised while handling several projects at once, and consistently deliver high-quality work with strong attention to detail.
Initiative, ownership, creative curiosity, and a positive mindset are important. The team is looking for someone who is motivated, collaborative, and genuinely interested in helping build a brand that is recognised and trusted.
Experience or an interest in animation, video editing, and content creation would be an advantage.
