About the role
Orbit Cover is looking for a Business Development Executive to support growth through partnerships, outreach, and relationship management. The company automates flight-delay claim payouts by detecting delays from live flight data, validating them without customer action, and sending money via UPI in under 7 seconds.
Business development and outreach
- Find and connect with potential partners, enterprise accounts, travel businesses, fintech companies, and distribution channels.
- Run outbound prospecting campaigns using phone calls, emails, professional networking platforms, events, and other creative channels.
- Set up, coordinate, and manage meetings with senior decision-makers.
- Maintain a strong and active pipeline of qualified opportunities.
Discovery and qualification
- Hold discovery discussions to understand customer needs, operating processes, pain points, and business goals.
- Use thoughtful qualification questions to evaluate opportunities effectively.
- Assess fit for each account and focus on the most promising prospects first.
- Collect market intelligence, client feedback, and sector insights to inform growth decisions.
Partnerships and relationship management
- Build and strengthen relationships with insurers, brokers, corporate partners, and other ecosystem stakeholders.
- Represent the company professionally in meetings, presentations, and external conversations.
- Develop durable relationships with prospects, customers, and strategic allies.
Founder support
- Work directly with the Founder on business development initiatives and growth opportunities.
- Support decisions with market research, competitor analysis, and customer insights.
- Help prioritize opportunities and contribute to go-to-market planning.
Process and execution
- Keep CRM records updated and make sure outreach activity is tracked consistently.
- Follow structured sales workflows while looking for ways to improve them.
- Own targets, reporting, and pipeline management.
- Test and assess new acquisition channels, outreach approaches, and growth experiments.

This role is open to candidates with at least 1 year of experience.
Salary and terms
The compensation offered is INR 5,00,000 to 8,00,000 per year. The position is full-time and remote, with work from home as the location. There is 1 opening available. The role should begin immediately, and the application deadline is 2026-07-05 23:59:59.
