Case Pickers - Afternoon Shift

Role overview

Americold Dublin is hiring warehouse operatives to support the receiving, handling, and dispatch of palletised goods. The position is centered on accurate warehouse picking, safe movement of stock, and careful adherence to food-safety and workplace-safety standards.

Key duties

• Process inbound and outbound pallets using the Warehouse Management System and handheld scanners.
• Follow standard operating procedures throughout all warehouse activities.
• Move pallets around the site safely with a manual pallet truck.
• Work in a freezer area where temperatures are controlled, spending up to 45 minutes each hour in that environment.
• Maintain product integrity by carrying out quality and processing checks.
• Use manual handling equipment correctly and safely.
• Pack cheese products for onward distribution.
• Follow the company HACCP food-safety plan and all health and safety policies.
• Work in line with company standards, procedures, and best practices at all times.

Requirements

• Prior experience in warehousing or a manufacturing setting is required.
• An MHE/FLT certificate is preferred.
• Manual handling training is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail is needed.
• You should be able to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
• Patience and calmness under pressure are important.
• You must be comfortable receiving feedback and working in demanding situations.
• Flexibility and openness to change are essential.
• Good spoken communication skills are expected.

Working hours

This is an afternoon shift role running from Sunday to Thursday, 12:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
