Role Overview

The Chief Operating Officer will be responsible for leading and refining global operations, working as a central executive partner in turning strategy into day-to-day performance. This role focuses on building scalable infrastructure, establishing strong operational controls, and ensuring high-quality processes across the business.

The right candidate will bring extensive experience across financial services, digital assets, or derivatives, along with a strong history of leading high-performing teams in fast-moving environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, roll out, and manage operational structures that can support rapid growth and international expansion.
• Work closely with the CEO and leadership team to execute the company’s strategy, define KPIs, and deliver measurable outcomes across departments.
• Create and improve internal systems, workflows, and reporting mechanisms that strengthen efficiency, visibility, and informed decision-making.
• Coordinate with legal and compliance teams to help ensure alignment with relevant regulatory requirements, especially in digital asset and derivatives environments.
• Define operational metrics, track performance, and lead ongoing improvements across trading support, research operations, and client delivery.
• Bring together trading, research, technology, and client-facing functions so strategy execution remains smooth and aligned.
• Hire, mentor, and lead an effective operations team while promoting accountability, accuracy, and high standards.
• Manage relationships with external providers, technology partners, and infrastructure vendors.

Requirements

• At least 20 years of experience in operations leadership within financial services, hedge funds, proprietary trading, or digital asset organizations.
• Strong knowledge of crypto derivatives markets, trading infrastructure, and institutional operating processes.
• Demonstrated success in scaling operations in startup or high-growth settings.
• Proven ability to build teams, processes, and systems from the ground up.
• Solid understanding of risk management, compliance, and regulatory issues in global markets.
• Excellent analytical thinking, organization, and execution skills.
• Strong leadership presence and the ability to influence stakeholders across functions.
• Experience working with remote and distributed teams.
