Role Overview

This office cleaning position is focused on keeping the facility clean, presentable, and operating to a high standard. The role is based in Nanaimo, British Columbia, Canada and follows the schedule below: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday from 4:30 pm to 1:00 am, and Friday and Saturday from 5:30 pm to 2:00 am.

Key Duties

• Keep floors, washrooms, and garbage bins clean and well maintained.
• Carry out cleaning and sanitizing in washrooms, shared spaces, and play areas.
• Refill consumables and supplies such as toilet paper, hand towels, and hand soap when needed.
• Remove dust from reachable surfaces including phone booths, countertops, pillars, lighting fixtures, and window ledges.

Candidate Profile

The ideal applicant brings a positive attitude, prior cleaning experience, and the physical ability to handle the demands of the job. Comfort with cleaning products, the ability to stand for long periods, clear communication with supervisors, clients, and members of the public, and access to personal transportation are all required. A clear criminal background check is mandatory, and candidates must be 19 years of age or older.
