Role Overview

Health Bridge is hiring a Clinical Assistant for an in-person position in Redding, CA 96001. This is a full-time, Monday to Friday role from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The position pays $21.00 to $24.00 per hour and includes a $500 sign-on bonus after 90 days.

This is a different kind of clinical assistant opportunity. Instead of routine tasks like taking vitals or performing EKGs, you will help deliver a first-of-its-kind telehealth dentistry experience. You will work at federally funded clinic sites and support preventive dental evaluations for patients who may never have had access to them before.

In this role, you will be the on-site connection between the patient and a remote licensed dentist. When the dentist joins live, you will help direct the intraoral camera in real time, support the virtual interaction, and make sure the visit feels smooth, reassuring, and personal from beginning to end. The role combines patient support, live clinical assistance, and community-facing service.

Responsibilities

• Act as the in-person point of contact between the patient and the remote dentist during live telehealth dental visits
• Operate and guide the intraoral camera in real time while the dentist examines the patient remotely
• Introduce the patient to the dentist in a friendly and comfortable way so the virtual visit feels natural
• Develop trust with patients, especially those with limited access to dental services, and help them feel at ease
• Gather medical history information, record diagnostic details, and keep patient files organized for dentist review
• Maintain accurate documentation while upholding professionalism, empathy, and strict confidentiality

Requirements

• High school diploma or an equivalent qualification
• Clear verbal and written communication abilities
• Current immunization records and proof of TB screening
• Willingness to learn and work with patients from diverse backgrounds
• Bonus: knowledge of dental terminology, tools, or procedures
• Bonus: current CPR or BLS certification that remains active
• Bonus: prior experience in healthcare or a customer-facing role
• Bonus: fluency in another language, which is especially useful for the communities served
