Role Overview

In this Compensation Analyst position, you will help shape, implement, and manage compensation programs that support both market competitiveness and internal fairness. Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate compensation data to check internal fairness and market competitiveness, including salary structures, job levels, and total packages, and recommend changes where needed.

  • Help build, update, and align job families, pay ranges, and compensation structures with business objectives and external market standards.
  • Compile, maintain, and validate compensation reports and trend analysis while protecting data accuracy across systems.
  • Track compliance with applicable federal, state, and local pay-related rules and update processes when regulations change.
  • Assist with the creation, administration, and review of incentive and bonus plans and suggest improvements.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business Administration, or a similar discipline, or an equivalent mix of education and experience.
  • Compensation certification such as CCP (Certified Compensation Professional) is preferred but not mandatory.
  • At least 2 years of experience in compensation analysis or a closely related function.
  • Solid knowledge of compensation concepts, practices, and legal requirements.
  • Hands-on experience with compensation tools and software such as PayScale, MarketPay, or Compensate.
  • Exposure to Workday HCM, especially compensation and/or benefits modules; prior Workday implementation work is advantageous.
  • Understanding of total rewards programs, including benefits, wellness, and perks, and how to connect them to compensation strategy.
  • Strong analytical ability with the capacity to evaluate complex information and produce usable recommendations.
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to present findings and suggestions clearly to leaders and stakeholders.
  • Strong discretion and integrity when working with confidential data.
