What you'll do

• Visit project sites to assess the scope of work and gather information directly.
• Review photographs, site details, and available documents to prepare clear work scopes.
• Create precise quotations under short turnaround times.
• Interpret plans and drawings to build pricing from the available design information.
• Manage tenders from the first enquiry through to handover.
• Work alongside project managers, contract administrators, and site teams.
• Communicate with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers throughout the estimating and delivery process.
• Prepare estimates, quantity take-offs, and tender submissions.
• Carry out site inspections from the Sunshine Coast through to Bundaberg.
• Develop scopes using site visits, photos, and limited project information.
• Read specifications and drawings to support accurate pricing.
• Coordinate variations so projects stay aligned with scope and budget.

What we're looking for

• At least 5 years of estimating experience in construction or a similar field.
• A trade background in carpentry or building is preferred.
• Confidence in assessing jobs on site and making sound decisions quickly.
• The ability to turn现场 observations into detailed scopes and reliable costings.
• Experience pricing from plans and drawings.
• Strong capability with Excel, general computer systems, and cost analysis.
• Excellent attention to detail and well-developed organisational skills.
• Clear communication skills and a client-focused approach.
