- Lead, coach, and develop a small content team while keeping work aligned with brand goals.
- Own the content calendar as well as campaign planning and delivery.
- Create brand messaging that remains compliant for a regulated cannabis-adjacent category.
- Partner with Product, Sales, and Operations to support product discovery and conversion.
- Direct photo and video shoots, whether handled internally or with outside vendors.
- Track performance metrics and use insights to improve content outcomes.
- Collaborate with legal or regulatory stakeholders to review and approve marketing materials.
- Contribute to hiring and mentoring creative talent as the team grows.
- Travel occasionally for shoots, events, and vendor meetings.
Requirements
- You must be at least 21 years old.
- At least 4 years of experience in content, brand, or creative marketing, including 1–2 years in a lead or management position.
- Background creating and delivering omnichannel content plans across social, email, ecommerce, and retail merchandising.
- Strong writing and editing ability with a clear sense of brand voice and product storytelling.
- Experience overseeing photography and video production.
- Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite or similar design and editing tools.
- Experience using CMS or ecommerce platforms, ideally Shopify, along with basic HTML/CSS familiarity.
- Good understanding of social platforms, community growth, and channel best practices.
- Comfort using analytics tools such as Google Analytics and native social insights to measure content performance.
- Strong project management skills and the ability to juggle multiple deadlines in a small-team setting.
- Experience creating compliant campaigns for regulated or restricted industries.
- Confident leadership, communication, and mentorship skills with an ability to hire and grow creative talent.
- Ability to travel when needed.
Preferred Experience

- Experience with events, pop-ups, or retail activations.
- Familiarity with Shopify apps, Klaviyo, and marketing automation tools.
- Bilingual ability or strong community outreach experience supporting diverse audiences.
