Role overview
AgileOne is looking for a Data Analyst to join its Business Intelligence function and turn workforce data into practical insight for internal stakeholders and global MSP clients. In this role, you will work with teams across the business to create dashboards, develop robust data models, and present complex information in a way that supports better decisions and stronger performance.
Key responsibilities
- Develop, update, and support Power BI dashboards and reports used by both internal teams and client-facing users.
- Create interactive visuals that surface trends and important workforce-related measures.
- Design and maintain data models, including star schema structures and fact/dimension tables.
- Write advanced DAX measures and calculations for analytics and reporting.
- Use SQL and Power Query (M) to extract, transform, and load data.
- Maintain accuracy and consistency of data across multiple systems and sources.
- Improve report speed and usability through better UX, drill-throughs, and automation where needed.
- Work alongside data engineering and infrastructure teams to support delivery and stability.
- Help automate recurring reporting processes using tools such as Power Automate.
- Record data sources, business logic, and reporting standards clearly and consistently.
Profile required
- Prior experience as a Data Analyst or BI Analyst, ideally in an MSP, staffing, or workforce solutions setting.
- Strong understanding of workforce metrics such as spend, bill rates, headcount, tenure, compliance, and supplier performance.
- Exposure to VMS platforms and related data structures, such as Fieldglass, Beeline, or VNDLY, is considered a strong advantage.
- Hands-on expertise with Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service.
- Advanced capability with DAX, Power Query (M), and SQL.
- Good grounding in data modelling and analytics best practices.
- Experience handling large, complex datasets.
- Strong analytical reasoning and problem-solving ability.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to data quality.
- Ability to juggle multiple tasks in a fast-moving environment.
- Confident communication skills, including the ability to explain data clearly.
- Comfort working both independently and as part of a team.
