Overview
This contract position supports high-volume data handling and reporting work for prevailing wage and certified payroll operations. The role is based remotely in the United States and runs from 07/06/2026 through 12/31/2026. It pays between $25 and $30 per hour.
The selected person will help process large sets of information, maintain sensitive records, and assist the team with process enhancements and system improvements. Day-to-day work will center on Microsoft Excel and Outlook, with additional exposure to documentation workflows and portal-based submissions as needed.
Core Duties
- Check employee-submitted data for mistakes and make necessary corrections.
- Sort, structure, and analyze large volumes of information.
- Assist prevailing wage and certified payroll teams with a range of tasks using Microsoft tools such as Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Handle internal Excel reports on a daily basis.
- Work with confidential information carefully and accurately.
- May be trained to submit required documents through state government and customer portals.
Skills and Work Style
Strong written and verbal communication, close attention to detail, and solid interpersonal skills are important. The role also calls for someone who can work independently, manage time well, and stay organized while handling data accurately. Advanced Excel ability is essential, including formulas, data analysis, and data validation. The right candidate should also be comfortable working collaboratively as part of a team.
