This opening is for a Civil & Structural Designer based in Coimbatore, India.

What you will do

• Develop structural drawings for water and wastewater facilities, including skids, modules, pipe supports, pipe racks, and related structures.
• Create accurate 2D drawings and 3D CAD models following the specified guidelines and standards.
• Produce general arrangement drawings, steel structure drawings, foundation drawings, pipe rack drawings, and equipment support drawings.
• Translate engineering concepts and design inputs into clear and precise technical drawings.
• Assist in preparing fabrication/manufacturing drawings and bills of materials.
• Support the creation of drawings and participate in design review activities.
• Examine project specifications, vendor submittals, and applicable local codes and standards.
• Prepare drawing packages for permitting and construction use.
• Work with other disciplines to gather the inputs needed for design completion.

What we are looking for

• A diploma, ITI qualification, or bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering.
• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in water and wastewater facilities, power, oil and gas, or industrial projects.
• Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD, with 2D capability required and 3D skills considered an added advantage.
• Ability to review technical documentation and convert it into compliant drawings.
