About the Role
This position is with an audio-visual rental and event production team that supports corporate functions, exhibitions, webcasts, livestreams, and live productions across Singapore.
The role is a mix of driving, warehouse handling, equipment movement, and on-site event support. It suits someone who is dependable, practical, and interested in learning the basics of AV operations through hands-on work.
No previous AV background is necessary. Training and on-the-job guidance will be provided to suitable candidates.
This is a physically demanding, fast-moving role that involves transport duties, loading and unloading, setup and teardown, and general operational support. It is best suited to candidates who are punctual, responsible, and comfortable working in an active environment.
Driving and Delivery
- Move AV equipment safely and on schedule to event venues and customer locations.
- Load and offload items carefully to reduce the risk of damage.
- Stick to delivery timelines and arrive at sites as planned.
- Inspect equipment before leaving the warehouse and again after it is returned.
- Keep company vehicles clean and handle basic vehicle upkeep.
AV Setup and On-Site Support
- Help install, test, dismantle, and pack down AV gear for events.
- Set up items such as TVs, projectors, speakers, microphones, and lighting.
- Route cables neatly and safely during installations.
- Assist with basic fault-finding for sound, display, or connectivity issues.
- Coordinate with technical and operations staff to support smooth event delivery.
Warehouse and Operations
- Prepare equipment before each assignment.
- Check returned stock for missing items, damage, or defects.
- Clean, pack, test, and organise equipment after projects are completed.
- Escalate any missing or faulty items quickly.
Requirements
- Must have a valid Singapore Class 3 driving licence.
- At least 2 years of Class 3 driving experience with a strong record of safe and responsible driving.
- A clean driving history will be an advantage.
- Comfortable driving vans for equipment deliveries.
- Able to lift and carry equipment and remain physically fit for active work.
- Capable of working under pressure and meeting operational deadlines.
- Open to evening shifts, weekends, and changing schedules.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
- Comfortable with practical technical and operational tasks.
- Able to follow procedures carefully during equipment movement and deployment.
- Experience in delivery, logistics, warehousing, or event support is helpful but not required.
- Basic knowledge of AV items such as projectors, speakers, and microphones is an advantage.
- Prior exposure to event setups or equipment handling will be valued.
- Must maintain professionalism, safe lifting habits, responsible driving, and polite communication at client sites and with venue personnel.
- Work is in a fast-paced event environment with regular lifting and physical activity.
- Schedules may include early starts, late finishes, and tight turnaround times.
- Role is based in Singapore.
- Open only to Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents.
- Company vehicles are not allowed to be taken home.
- Training will be given to candidates who demonstrate a strong work ethic.
- Growth opportunities include increased responsibility in event operations, deployment coordination, AV support, and equipment management based on performance and reliability.
Working Environment
The role follows a 5.5-day work week and operates in a busy event-production setting. The work is physically active and may require early mornings, late nights, and rapid deployment under time-sensitive conditions.
Growth and Progression
Strong performers may gradually move into larger responsibilities across event operations, equipment coordination, AV setup assistance, and inventory management. Advancement is tied to performance, dependability, and the ability to handle more responsibility, rather than time spent in the role.
