Role Overview
This position is for an Electrical Inspector who will carry out inspection services to confirm that EPC work, contractor activities, subcontractor work, and vendor-supplied materials comply with contract requirements across the project lifecycle.
Key Duties
- Carry out hold, witness, and surveillance inspections and tests at factories or project sites to verify compliance with Saudi Aramco requirements and project specifications.
- Examine materials and equipment to confirm they are properly handled, stored, and protected at Saudi Aramco facilities and construction locations.
- Track contractor quality systems, records, and quality staff to ensure they meet required standards.
- Assess contractor quality documentation submissions.
- Observe material and installation testing performed on-site and off-site to ensure they align with Saudi Aramco standards.
- Document disputed or non-compliant construction activities, materials, and equipment accurately and clearly, and escalate potential issues early to the supervisor.
- Prepare inspection reports and issue Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), Worksheets (WSs), and Equipment Deficiency Reports (EDRs) when needed.
Requirements
Applicants should have a B.S. degree in Engineering in a relevant inspection discipline with at least 4 years of related inspection experience, or a 2-year industrial/technical college diploma with a minimum of 8 years of relevant inspection experience. The resume should show practical knowledge of the National Electric Code/NFPA 70, IEC, or similar standards, along with experience in electrical installations, materials, methods, specifications, and hazardous area identification for the oil and gas or petrochemical sector. Relevant certifications such as NCPCCI, NFPA 70 Certified, or an equivalent credential are required. Experience on pipeline, petrochemical, refinery, or oil and gas construction projects is considered an advantage. Saudi Aramco approval is preferred but not mandatory.

Project Details
The role supports prestigious Saudi Aramco projects under the Project Inspection Department. It is connected to the QMIS - Saudi Aramco Quality Management Inspection Service program. The work is based within Saudi Arabia at Saudi Aramco project sites, and the exact site will be confirmed after selection.
