End User Computing (EUC) Engineer

Role overview

Join the IT Infrastructure team within the SIA Group and contribute to modernising end-user computing. This position focuses on shaping a secure and efficient workplace technology environment by combining automation and AI-enabled solutions with day-to-day EUC operations.

Project delivery and workflow automation

• Work with internal stakeholders and external partners to plan, coordinate, and complete EUC initiatives on schedule and within the approved budget.
• Introduce AI-based and automation tools to simplify processes, cut down repetitive work, and improve overall productivity.

Microsoft platform administration

• Support and administer Microsoft platforms such as Entra, Intune, and O365, with attention to both performance and security.
• Build automated processes for activities including account provisioning, patching, software deployment, and compliance tracking.

Endpoint administration and automation

• Oversee employee devices such as laptops, smartphones, and tablets to ensure they remain secure, compliant, and current.
• Use automation to handle updates, security fixes, and compliance verification more efficiently.

Issue resolution and intelligent support

• Investigate and resolve end-user computing problems using AI-assisted diagnostic methods to reduce disruption and improve the user experience.
• Apply predictive analytics and machine learning techniques to spot likely issues early and address them before they escalate.

Documentation and knowledge management

• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, user instructions, and training materials using AI-supported knowledge management tools.
• Keep documentation accurate, consistent, and easy to use through technology-assisted review and updates.

Cross-functional teamwork

• Partner with IT colleagues and other business teams to deliver reliable services and smooth support experiences.
• Communicate clearly and collaborate effectively to achieve shared operational goals.

Innovation and technology awareness

• Keep up with developments in AI, automation, and EUC-related technologies.
• Assess new tools and approaches for their ability to improve IT operations and support innovation across the organisation.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a closely related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of practical experience in an EUC Engineer role or a comparable IT infrastructure position.
• Strong ability to diagnose and solve complex technical issues.
• Working knowledge of infrastructure areas such as networking, virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI), AWS cloud, and information security.
• Advanced experience with Microsoft solutions, including Entra, O365, and Intune.
• Preferred industry certifications such as MCSE, CCNA/CCNP, AWS, or ITIL.
• Preferred certifications in AI, machine learning, or automation tools/frameworks such as Microsoft AI Engineer, AWS Machine Learning, or UiPath.
• Excellent spoken and written communication skills, with the ability to translate technical ideas for non-technical audiences.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
• A customer-focused mindset with a commitment to improving the end-user experience through automation and AI.
• A proactive attitude toward learning emerging technologies and applying them to support business success.
