The team
The Enterprise Business Representative group sits at the front line of Adyen’s commercial engine. It focuses on finding promising prospects, opening early conversations, and supporting pipeline creation in close partnership with global sales, marketing, and partnership teams.
This position is a modern take on sales development, with a strong emphasis on strategy, campaign planning, and generating high-value pipeline across large merchants with meaningful revenue potential.
Role overview
Adyen is seeking a driven Enterprise Business Representative (BDR) who is naturally curious, inventive, comfortable with technology, and excited to contribute directly to the growth of the new business segment. You will work alongside senior sellers, marketers, channel partner managers, and other stakeholders to shape account strategy and open opportunities.
What you will do
- Focus on high-potential accounts using insight-led targeting and commercial strategy.
- Help plan and execute campaigns that match buyer priorities, market movements, and strategic goals in collaboration with Sales, Marketing, and Partnerships.
- Run creative, multi-channel prospecting with highly tailored outreach that speaks to each merchant’s challenges and priorities.
- Work with the broader commercial team to build account plans and improve outreach through feedback and lessons learned.
- Use modern tools and AI-supported workflows to improve prospecting and surface early-stage opportunities.
- Generate new business leads at industry events through targeted in-person engagement.
You will operate at the intersection of strategy, execution, and enablement, helping shape how Adyen approaches the market.

- Strong comfort with technology and enthusiasm for using digital and AI tools to work more effectively.
- Strategic thinking and an ability to connect day-to-day work to long-term commercial goals.
- Fluency in both German and English, spoken and written.
Nice to have
- Background in B2B sales, consulting, or a go-to-market role.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and sales engagement tools.
- Exposure to, or strong interest in, fintech and payments.
