The Opportunity

Adbri is looking for a driven, hands-on person to join its Concrete and Aggregates team at the Birkenhead site. This is a field-based position where you’ll carry out testing work on concrete and other construction materials across a variety of job sites. The role suits someone who enjoys practical outdoor work, values safety, and wants to build experience in the construction materials industry.

No previous testing background is necessary, as full training will be provided for the right applicant with the right attitude, reliability, and focus on safe work practices. This is a permanent, full-time position reporting to the Laboratory Supervisor.

Key Duties

  • Carry out on-site sampling and testing of concrete and construction materials.
  • Visit customer locations and project sites to complete field testing tasks.
  • Complete testing work in line with relevant Australian Standards.
  • Capture, communicate, and document results clearly and accurately.
  • Look after testing equipment, including calibration and basic upkeep.
  • Follow safety rules, work instructions, and company procedures at all times.
  • Assist the laboratory team with sample preparation and testing when needed.
  • Help ensure quality expectations and customer requirements are met consistently.
