Frontend Engineer

Role overview

This is a remote hourly contract role for a frontend engineer. The work is organized in sprint-style project blocks lasting roughly 12 to 24 hours, depending on project needs. Compensation is set at $85 per hour, and a typical accepted task is valued at about $400 and can take around 2 to 3 hours once you are ramped up.

What you will do

• Handle challenging frontend engineering assignments with the help of coding agents.
• Assess code produced by models for accuracy, code quality, maintainability, accessibility, and performance.
• Spot defects, unusual cases, and possible failure points in generated implementations.
• Compare results from different models and judge where each performs well or falls short.
• Use practical engineering judgment to solve realistic frontend development problems.

Candidate profile

• You should bring solid hands-on experience in frontend engineering.
• Experience building modern web apps with React, TypeScript, JavaScript, or similar front-end stacks is important.
• Comfort using coding agents and productivity tools for developers is expected.
• You should be able to review model-built frontend solutions, UI structure, and optimization choices.
• Experience working on large consumer-facing or enterprise-scale products is preferred.
