Global Sourcing Manager

Role overview

A growing consumer products business is looking to add a Global Sourcing Manager to its team. This is a newly created position focused on helping the company expand its product range, strengthen supplier partnerships, and improve how new products move from concept to production.

The organization works across several retail channels and continues to invest in innovation and category growth. The right person for this role will enjoy shaping processes, building systems, and contributing ideas rather than simply maintaining existing operations.

The headquarters are in Southern New Jersey, and applicants should live within a reasonable distance of the Philadelphia metro area so they can participate in occasional in-person collaboration.

What you'll be responsible for

• Owning the full product development cycle, starting with concept and continuing through final production.
• Leading sourcing efforts on a global scale and managing supplier relationships throughout Asia.
• Working closely with design teams to explore new materials, finishes, and product construction options.
• Supporting the growth of current categories while helping introduce new product ideas to the market.
• Refining internal processes and communication between teams to increase speed and support business growth.
• Handling cost negotiations, timeline management, and quality control expectations.
• Contributing in a practical, hands-on way to support continued expansion.

What we're looking for

• Background in product development and global sourcing within home décor, outdoor living, seasonal goods, gifts, or similar consumer product categories.
• Solid knowledge of materials, manufacturing methods, and supplier strengths and limitations.
• Direct experience working with overseas factories and vendor partners.
• Strong ability to collaborate with design and cross-functional stakeholders.
• A strategic, entrepreneurial approach with a bias toward execution.
• Comfort with international travel several times per year.

Work setting

This is an onsite full-time role based around the Greater Philadelphia area, with occasional in-person collaboration expected.
