This role is for an experienced Carpenter Handyman Professional based in Kennewick, Washington.

What You’ll Do

• Handle small to medium maintenance and repair work for residential and commercial projects, with assignments lasting from about two hours to several days.
• Speak with customers, explain what work is needed, clarify scope and pricing, and help set realistic expectations.
• Create repeat business by delivering a strong customer experience and following the company’s step-by-step service process.

How You’ll Work

• Work independently and manage your own schedule while often being on your own.
• Communicate professionally with customers, request reviews, and collect payments.
• Bring the tools required for the job and be comfortable using technology.
• Record job details electronically and follow the established service workflow.
• Use proper PPE and shoe coverings to protect customers’ homes.

Minimum Requirements

• Must live in the local area.
• At least 5 years of paid handyman experience is required.
• Having your own basic general tools is preferred; specialty tools and equipment will be supplied.
• Must be insurable to drive the company vehicle.
• Must pass a background check and driving record review.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds without assistance.
• Must be able to work safely at heights and overhead for extended periods.
• Professional appearance and proper care of the company vehicle are expected.

Preferred Hands-On Experience

The ideal candidate should be highly skilled in at least three of the following areas:

• Carpentry
• Bathroom upgrades
• Kitchen upgrades
• Interior and exterior painting
• Drywall repairs, from minor fixes to major work
• General plumbing and electrical tasks where permitted by law
• Floor installation and refinishing
• Understanding of building codes
