Housekeeper

Overview

Mayfield Country Cottages is hiring a housekeeper for a full-time role in Canada. This position is based on-site and must be performed at the physical workplace; remote work is not available.

Language

English is required for this role.

Education

No degree, certificate, or diploma is needed.

Experience

Previous experience is an advantage, but it is not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Clean floors by sweeping, mopping, washing, and polishing
• Remove dust from furniture and other surfaces
• Vacuum carpets, rugs, drapes, and upholstered items
• Prepare rooms by making beds and replacing linens
• Provide fresh towels and toiletries as needed
• Sanitize and polish kitchen and bathroom fittings and appliances
• Collect, track, and report lost and found belongings
• Respond to guest requests for additional supplies or items
• Offer simple information about the property and its facilities
• Remove trash and debris from rooms and common areas
• Wash clothing and household linens
• Carry out general light cleaning and housekeeping tasks
• Clean windows, walls, and ceilings
